Journal History

Applied Economics Quarterly was founded by Albert Wissler in 1952 under the title of Konjunkturpolitik. After 49 volumes with the majority of articles in German, the journal was relaunched as Applied Economics Quarterly at the beginning of 2003, and now publishes exclusively in English. The editorial team together with the editorial board reflects the international economics community the journal seeks to reach and marks a commitment to continued diversity in the types of research it will encompass.
