Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Publication languages of ZVersWiss are German and English. All incoming papers are subject to a double-blind review process. By submitting, the author irrevocably undertakes not to publish the manuscript elsewhere or to offer it for publication until a decision on acceptance has been made. The editorial office expressly reserves the right to make editorial changes upon acceptance of the manuscript. Thereafter, the author will receive a galley proof.

If you use figures, tables or text passages that have already been published, the permission of the owner of the copyright must first be obtained. The source citation and a brief text that the use has been approved must be included.

Please submit your manuscripts online. Electronic submission shortens the processes on the editor's side and thus the time of production. Please follow the Submission button at the top of the page and submit your manuscript data following the instructions on the screen.
